On Thursday, September 6, 2018, Center Lodge #244 in Bogalusa, LA, held their annual Past Master’s Night.
On Thursday, September 6, 2018, Center Lodge #244 in Bogalusa, LA, held their annual Past Master’s Night. In attendance was Most Worshipful Martin J. Reinschmidt, Grand Master of Masons in the state of Louisiana, and multiple members of the Grand Lodge family. Most Worshipful gave a wonderful speech about Past Masters. We presented Most Worshipful Reinschmidt with a charitable donation of $500 to the Grand Lodge to be given to a charity of the Grand Master’s choosing. Our Grand Master chose the Masonic Learning Center of Louisiana.
The Masonic Learning Center of Louisiana offers a training program for children affected by Dyslexia. The Grand Lodge of Louisiana began this program in 1998 and has had great success. This program is completely free to the students and families, however donations are always welcome.
