Hammond, La – The Widows Sons Louisiana are proud to donate $4,215 to The Disposable Heroes Project (DHP), a reputable veteran charity located in Hammond, LA.
The DHP was chosen by the Widows Sons of Louisiana to be their charity of choice for 2017. The proceeds of the donation were raised at the 2017 Widows Sons Rally where they raffled off a Harley Davidson motorcycle provided by Outlaw Cycles of Covington, LA.
Widows Sons chapters which participated in the fundraising event include the Louisiana Grand Chapter, Ben King Chapter, Big Easy Chapter, and the Atchafalaya Chapter.
The mission of The DHP is to recognize, honor and support our wounded, former, fallen and active duty troops. The DHP is proud to serve all branches of the military and their families and to ensure our American troops are never without needed assistance.
